Nigel Kellaway Collection

A double DVD set of excerpts from ten major works by Nigel Kellaway (1994 – 2004) has been assembled and edited by Kellaway and his long-time associate, video artist Peter Oldham. The licensed distributor for this set is CONTEMPORARY ARTS MEDIA. http://www.artfilms.com.au

CAM also distributes DVDs of the complete performances of Kellaway’s Sleepers Wake! Wachet Auf! (2007), The Rameau Project (2009) and Brief Synopsis (2013), as well as their collaboration with Clare Grant of a multi-DVD assemblage of material from THE SYDNEY FRONT (1987-93)

Nigel Kellaway has organised his substantial archive of printed records, detailing his work over the period 1994 – 2016.

This document includes reviews, interviews, articles, lectures, grant applications and acquittals, budgets and financial statements, correspondence, scripts and texts, program notes, and a myriad other details and comments. The document is titled “Nigel Kellaway – a cautionary tale”

A video (digital) archive of Kellaway’s work, 1994-2004, assembled by the Department of Performance Studies at the University of Sydney, is included in the “Sydney e-Scholarship Repository” based at the University’s Fisher Library – an international initiative pioneering this kind of technology to allow universal access to theatre artists’ creative archives. http://ses.library.usyd.edu.au
